Sekai Electronics receives new award for US Navy E2D Hawkeye End Body Monitoring System

Sekai Electronics, a Developer and Manufacturer of advanced Imaging Systems, Ruggedized Displays and Video Recording Systems announced on June 26, 2019 the award From Northrop Grumman for the delivery of additional twenty-four (24) additional End Body Monitoring Systems (EBMS).  The EBMS consists of Ruggedized Displays, Cameras, and associated Power Supplies. The Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American all-weather, carrier-capable tactical airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft. The E-2D gives the warfighter expanded battlespace awareness, especially in the area of information operations delivering battle management, theater air and missile defense, and multiple sensor fusion capabilities in an airborne system. Roland Soohoo – President & CEO of Sekai Electronics commented, “we are extremely proud to be part of this important US Navy E2D program.  Sekai has been the principal provider of EBMS to Northrop Grumman since the programs inception”.  “We have a long standing relationship with the US Navy and Northrop Grumman this and other battle management and control systems”. Sekai Electronics receives award for US Navy LCAC Displays

IRVINE, California., February 26, 2019.   Sekai Electronics, a Developer and Manufacturer of advanced Color and Monochrome Imaging Systems, Ruggedized Displays and Video Recording Systems today announced it has received an award for the manufacturing and delivery of additional 17” Displays for the US Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC).  Seka has been the original developer and manufacturer of both the 10.4” and 17” displays for the LCAC program. The Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) is a class of air-cushion vehicle (hovercraft) used as landing craft by the United States Navy’s Assault Craft Units and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). They transport weapons systems, equipment, cargo and personnel of the assault elements of the Marine Air/Ground Task Force both from ship to shore and across the beach. Roland Soohoo – President & CES of Sekai Electronics commented, “We are extremely proud to be part of this important US Navy LCAC program and the principal provider of displays for their Amphibious Assault Landing Craft”.  “We have had a long standing relationship with the US Navy on this and other critical combat programs”. Under the award, Sekai Electronics is required to deliver LCD 17” Displays the US Navy Naval Surface Warfare Center – Panama City Florida. Sekai Electronics receives award for US Army Digital Night Vision – Standards Compliant Low Light Level Camera (SCL3C) Project

IRVINE, California., February 20, 2019.  Sekai Electronics, a Developer and Manufacturer of advanced Color and Monochrome Imaging Systems, Ruggedized Displays and Video Recording Systems, today announced that is has been awarded a contract to design, manufacture and deliver digital night vision cameras for the IVAS (Integrated Visual Augmentation System) program.  These camera systems are part of the Army Standards Compliant Low Light Level Camera (SCL3C) program. The Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) is a system designed to incorporate head, body, and weapon technologies on individual Soldiers. It is a single platform that Soldier/Marines can fight, rehearse, and train that provides increased lethality, mobility and situational awareness necessary to achieve overmatch against our current and future adversaries. This system includes a squad-level combat training capability, which is vital for the repeated iterations of training and rehearsals needed to ensure potential future battlefield success. The agreement was issued under the SOSSEC, Inc. and the Sensors, Communications and Electronics Consortium (SCEC) Other Transaction Agreement on behalf of the US Army’s Night Vision and Electronic Sensor Directorate (NVESD). Under the award, Sekai Electronics is required to deliver low-light camera modules within one year for prototyping of low-light and night vision capabilities to the IVAS system.
