Sekai Electronics receives new award for US Navy E2D Hawkeye End Body Monitoring System

Sekai Electronics, a Developer and Manufacturer of advanced Imaging Systems, Ruggedized Displays and Video Recording Systems announced on June 26, 2019 the award From Northrop Grumman for the delivery of additional twenty-four (24) additional End Body Monitoring Systems (EBMS).  The EBMS consists of Ruggedized Displays, Cameras, and associated Power Supplies. The Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American all-weather, carrier-capable tactical airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft. The E-2D gives the warfighter expanded battlespace awareness, especially in the area of information operations delivering battle management, theater air and missile defense, and multiple sensor fusion capabilities in an airborne system. Sekai Electronics receives award for US Navy LCAC Displays

IRVINE, California., February 26, 2019.   Sekai Electronics, a Developer and Manufacturer of advanced Color and Monochrome Imaging Systems, Ruggedized Displays and Video Recording Systems today announced it has received an award for the manufacturing and delivery of additional 17” Displays for the US Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC).  Seka has been the original developer and manufacturer of both the 10.4” and 17” displays for the LCAC program. The Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) is a class of air-cushion vehicle (hovercraft) used as landing craft by the United States Navy’s Assault Craft Units and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). They transport weapons systems, equipment, cargo and personnel of the assault elements of the Marine Air/Ground Task Force both from ship to shore and across the beach. Roland Soohoo – President & CES of Sekai Electronics commented, “We are extremely proud to be part of this important US Navy LCAC program and the principal provider of displays for their Amphibious Assault Landing Craft”.  “We have had a long standing relationship with the US Navy on this and other critical combat programs”. The award was issued under the US Navy NECO (Navy Electronics Business Opportunities) program). Under the award, Sekai Electronics is required to deliver LCD 17” Displays the US Navy Naval Surface Warfare Center – Panama City Florida.
